Hi guys - not so far away from draft day now!
I may have just forgotten, but what is the plan for the day now - are people planning to do a lunch before or a curry afterwards? Would be good to get an idea of what time we’re planning to start etc.
@bluelionman - I know you’re probably still busy sorting your premier league games, but when you turn to the NFL stuff it would be good to get some details for the day.
James - it’s the first Saturday in September (3rd). Usually starts just after lunchtime.
I have to dash straight after as I have a football gala the following day.
By the way I’ve exceeded my NFL fantasy teams, so I won’t be able to take part in your JellyBeanz league if you’re running again? (Sure someone will take up my space).
Thanks Dean. Yes all good with the date, I just wasn’t sure ehether plans had been discussed for either before or after the draft yet.
Thanks for letting me know, but I’m probably not going to run the PPR league this year. I’m also trying to limit my number of leagues!
Hey James - I was planning to alternate each year between curry and carvery - so as we did curry last year going for carvery this year. No set plan yet as was gonna ask the league - maybe set up a poll if they would prefer a pre draft lunch / carvery or a post draft carvery.
Either way afterwards I really enjoyed the pub walk 5 of us did last year so plan to do another one for anyone that’s staying about - and I so hope many will - as last year we drafted on a Sunday so this year being a Saturday far more pubs will be open and later into the night. 
Sounds good Noel - a carvery sounds good to me. I’d probably opt for a pre-draft carvery as a preference, but I’ll let you set up a poll of easier.
Yeah pre draft carvery was good in 2014. Chance to line the stomach and also to chat to other players before the draft. gets my vote
I’d better not go overboard at the carvery then, don’t want to be struggling throughout the draft because I ate too much!

Sorry guys wanted to do all my info last weekend but was so depressed just had a rotten weekend and was not up for long typings and admin and each night (now) after work been to knackered but will address all over weekend and start to post up polls within the league at NFL.com on the outstanding things that I agreed earlier in the year to allow some votes on regards options we use this year and prizes etc,.
Also am hoping the new guys (replacements) have joined the league on NFL.com - I did send invites from their directly.
Also rather than a vote am taking an executive decision and going for a lunchtime group carvery - so we can all sit together I will go have a word with the manager and see about booking a table but to do that I will need to know numbers and give a time. Yes people can turn up ad hoc and get there carvery but then we would be all spread out - I think booking and asking for a table guarantees us all grouped together - great for socialising. So what sort of time to that’s the question. Late enough for those traveling from afar to get here and not be rushed but equally not so late as to make the draft run to late into the night for those who wish to rush off same day after the draft?

I haven’t received the invite for the league, let me have the details when you can also last year when I first contacted you I can remember a you tube post is that still available, if not have you any information on what occurs on the draft day.

Hey Noel,
I land in Gatwick at 12.40, so id be available for a carvery at Redhill for 1.30pm onwards.
My flight leaves at 9.35pm from Gatwick, so id probably want to be leaving Redhill by 8.15ish…

Weird I did invite you directly - can you PM or e-mail me your e-mail address to use to invite you and I will re-do it tonight when in from work. Also as invite comes from NFL.com and not my e-mail it may be worth checking your junk folder if you can not find in your inbox.
As for You Tube video am sure there’s something still there - it was made by Sean Connors so have a look at his a/c. I will look tonight and send you some links of what I find that may give you an idea of what to expect.
I’m easy time wise as only a few hours away in the car so will fit in around when others can get there

As soon as the league is full I will start putting up polls on rules and things for us all to vote on.

Oops - so now I need to go all detective to work out who the missing GM is but in the mean time if every one checks they are signed up I might not have to when I get in from work.
Is it Chris Jennings? He’s still a co-owner with me at the minute and he’s an individual now
