From the 2017/18 Season FPL brought out an online draft game so we switched over to that. A poll was run to see if people preferred a head to head format or classic total points style league. The poll result was 79% vs 29% in favour of a classic points style league so that was decided upon from this point forwards. However, two seasons later (2019/20) I asked those joining before that seasons live draft what they preferred and they overwhelmingly voted for a head to head style league. So that format was used for that season and have decided to ask annually those taking part to vote for what type of league they want each year - Classic or Head to Head. So, it can flip season to season.
