'TFP ORIGINALS' 2016 - offline £100 Money League

Not meaning to pile on, but I also think it’s pretty odd to have no trade deadline whatsoever, so would also appreciate a yes/no vote on this next offseason.

Thanks for getting the results out Noel.

Agreed with everyone else re trade deadline.

I think the result of the trade deadline poll can be interpreted as Yes - Nov 25th as the winning result. Obviously this didn’t count any of the ‘No’ votes but that’s what won from the Yes’ and they were the overall majority.

Either that or just run another poll taking the no out and just have those 3 dates, it’s not like it’d affect anything to do that and we would end up with the correct and fair result.

Ditto re: trade deadline, I’d say the majority want a deadline and it’s just undecided of which of the few weeks it would be on.

Okay guys - am a few days behind as I get all messages e-mailed so as not to get lost been working through them in chronological order so I don’t miss who’s paid for what or asked what question. So regards this poll on the trade deadline what I will do is run another poll as it seems people weren’t clear on the options but hell I listed all the options the settings menu offered and ‘no deadline’ means just that - no deadline - it is an option, so if people vote for the wrong option that’s on them but just maybe others who voted fancied that. I mean what’s the point of polls if I don’t then take from them the majority outcome?

edit: However Simon makes a valid point (that I only see now myself after looking again with what he points out) that the Yes’s together would beat the No Deadline so what I will do is put a new Yes / No Poll up as this setting can be changed right up until very late in regular season - and then if Yes wins will do a poll with just the 3 date options… think that addresses everyone’s concerns then.

Moving on - what a good opening game last night was… I was so tired after work am gutted that I think I fell asleep in the 2 QTR and woke a few mins into the 4th QTR. Two good teams from what I did see!

edit 2: I have now put up the new Yes / No poll on the trade deadline and I will implement the result of this poll when all 16 GM’s have voted or what the majority option is after 7 days (16/9) which ever is the sooner.

Can we have a Poll to end Polls, I vote yes.

Noel - you’re the Commissioner and probably the most experienced fantasy player of the forum. Just make a sensible decision and stick with it.

If you cannot see that a deadline is necessary, you need to go back to the drawing board - but I’m guessing you already know what it should be.

Where is the poll?

@markdimmock812 - It’s in the league itself where you type messages on the wall look to the right your find it there - may have to scroll down a little as NFL.com likes ads.

@Dean - True but as I started polls only fair stick with and there’s ages till this would hit either way so to show all how decision was reached didn’t hurt to make a poll. Am sure trade deadline will be wanted and then I’ll ask which of the dates system offers, no biggie really and it’s not so much the deadline but what date do most think is best for this league. Hence having that poll.

But yeah I hear you enough with the polls.

I got worried about Wilsons ankle injury so picked up Siemian and started him as was starting to panic with a 1-2 start and this proved to be the difference making me now 1-3 as Siemian for the Broncos left the game injured and got me only 6.72 points whereas Wilson showed no sign of the injured ankle sat on my bench with 23.86 points… his best fantasy score this year! ARGHHHHHH fantasy Gods why are you doing this to me… sometimes the harder you try the worse the outcome! :sob:

Many congratulations Robert - Great season from you - only just caught up on all the results as ran out of data at my mums over Xmas and she don’t have a computer or wi-fi etc. Had to catch up on all the real games when I got in yesterday to mine via GanePass so avoided fantasy sites to not give away what occurred in the games. So finally today I can check now I have done that and alas I had a mare in the few leagues I was up there in. Very pleased for you though. Will be in touch directly to discuss winnings and prize options.

All Time Highest Weeks Score (set in 2015 / Year 2)

(Week 9) Simon Liu (Minimum Effort Maximum Reward) / TheOnlySimon - 173.16

In honour of the TFP Originals all time highest ever weekly score set back in Week 9 of the 2015 season - which appears to be before I started doing threads on this forum for this league (as this league started out originally on the now defunct NFLUK forum) so as this score has never been surpassed am adding the screen shot to the 2016 thread - as it was only set the season before.

Well done Simon Liu TheOnlySimon - that’s some incredible score! :football: :football:
