Great to see you all again today (and meet those new to the league this year).
Glad everything worked out and well done Mark for stepping in at the last minute, can’t have been easy to draft like that!
Roll on the season!

Roll on the season!
All players and rosters loaded!!!
I have a 2-11 record predicted… damn you nfl.com, that brings back painful memories!!!
I got 12-1, but Chris and I got 11-2 year 1 and started 1-6
Good work on getting them loaded so quickly Alan.
I’m hoping that some early season internal disagreements between Kieran and George regarding sit/start decisions will help me to victory my week 1 matchup against Drunk & Drunker!
I’ve only done the players. I’ve left the divisions, schedule and waiver priorities to Noel
Noel - Can you confirm prize structure please
Electric Prunes £1600
The rest £0.
Hope that helps.
And the results to the all polls that went up? Still not sure what all the rules are.
Touchdowns count double when there’s a full moon, we are split into two divisions based on how we voted in the Brexit Referendum, and Drew plays Brad in the final. You just weren’t paying attention, Chris!
If only I had known that before the draft, changes everything
I am in the TFP Auction draft (starts 9pm - 16 teams) but as soon as its over I will get in to The Originals League make the changes and post on here the poll results and what that meant okay.
Noel - Can you confirm prize structure please
Sure - will be same as last year with winner getting choice on top to spend residue how they wish, for a winners ring, trophy, Speadex entry - whatever they wish.
@eiskrap - will post screen shots of polls tonight when I get explaining outcomes but had a look at them and most went for options already used so no changes really. Biggest ones that resulted in changes were to amend tie-breakers to ‘points for’ (previously we had the default of ‘head to head record’) and there was a vote for editing schedules to make sure everyone played division opponents twice in the regular season with the match ups being your first 3 games and last 3 games.
Also some of the polls are moot now as they were for the draft itself and was meant to post them that morning but had a panic and spent time chasing Brad and contacting people I thought might fill in once I got wind he wasn’t coming.
I will still post those polls screen shots and explain how I’ll use them to improve next year.
No issues Mark - just thankful you was able to save the day. Maybe Karma will come around and put Packers in the show for you this year.
Let’s hope so Noel! That or win both the originals and challenger leagues. Maybe just place in the Auction league, I’m not greedy.
Right I said I would post the screen shots of all the polls and explain what each means.
TRADING DRAFT SPOT SELECTION: This was actually a no but as only 7 voted a show of hands at draft was taken and we went with it but it caused a lot of confusion and in the end don’t think anyone made a deal. I myself prefer simplicity so think during the season we will have to re do this poll on a view to next year. I myself thought the picking of your draft spot was fine for more choice with those lucky enough with an early draw.
TRADING INDIVIDUAL DRAFT PICKS: This was a narrow Yes result but in actual fact 1 GM said they thought I was talking about the actual draft spot not individual picks so he would of voted no had he realised which would make the poll level 50% - 50% and so it was decided to leave alone at the draft as it would be to complicated to administer so is now shelved as a concept.
POSITIONAL ROSTER LIMITS: This received a very strong No vote - 77%. This is where we introduce a minimum / maximum of how many of a certain position you can carry on your team - eg like 2 QB’s max, 3 WR min etc., However this was categorically opposed so will not happen.
ETHICS: This Poll I pulled after passionate argument against it but in any case there was overwhelming support to be allowed to do as you please with your own team so that is now the case (just not a grey area anymore).
SCHEDULE: Do you wish to play your Divisional rivals twice. The winning option with over 50% off the votes cast was a resounding Yes for the first 3 / last 3 regular season matches to be against Divisional rivals so that has now been implemented.
TRADE DEADLINE: I was surprised that the majority vote was for ‘No Deadline’ so now you can make trades throughout the season and possibly into the post season… having never had ‘No Deadline’ before in any league I’ve played not sure how it works regards postseason but we are going to find out as I have implemented the ‘No Deadline’ option as per poll result.
TIE-BREAKER: A 69% majority voted for ‘Points For’ so this has been implemented (last 2 seasons it was the NFL.com default option of Head to Head Records).
& that was the Polls so a quick recap of the only real differences for this year now compared to last two is the tie-breaker is points for, there is no trade deadline anymore, people got to pick their draft spot as opposed to drawing one and being stuck with it and we are using the last of the 3 waiver wire options - option 3 where waivers never reset - so once you land a player off waivers you go back to the bottom of the queue. People can set their team up how they like - leaving players in on Byes is no longer a grey area - you can do this - it’s your prerogative and finally you will play other teams in your Division twice - as your first 3 fixtures and last 3 fixtures of the regular fantasy season.
Hope that clears everything up and league settings can be viewed here: ‘TFP Originals’ League Settings
Trade Deadline Poll:-
If you think about it, Yes actually received more votes, but because you split the Yes votes into different deadline dates it made the No Deadline vote come out ahead with less than 50% of the total votes.
It really should have been Yes/No only and then have had a separate poll for deadline dates.
You beat me to it, Simon, was going to say the exact same thing. I will live with it for this season as we have all seen the ruling before week one, but this is one where I would appreciate a yes/no vote next offseason.
And thanks for getting all the poll results out Noel
It would have had a deadline I think if the question was clearer as this is plain daft.
As others have said in regard to next season.
