Have you seen the NFL SUPER CONTEST - SPREADEX

I’m 7-3 going into week 3.

That’s most likely not good enough form to get me in the money, but it’s a solid start.

WEEK 3
Washington (+3.5) @ New York Giants (-3.5)
Atlanta (-2) @ Dallas (+2)
Cincinnati (+3) @ Baltimore (-3)
Indianapolis (-3.5) @ Tennessee (+3.5)
Jacksonville (+13.5) @ New England (-13.5)
New Orleans (+4.5) @ Carolina (-4.5)
Oakland (+3.5) @ Cleveland (-3.5)
Philadelphia (+2.5) @ New York Jets (-2.5)
Pittsburgh (-1) @ St. Louis (+1)
San Diego (+2.5) @ Minnesota (-2.5)
Tampa Bay (+6.5) @ Houston (-6.5)
San Francisco (+6.5) @ Arizona (-6.5)
Buffalo (+2.5) @ Miami (-2.5)
Chicago (+14.5) @ Seattle (-14.5)
Denver (-3) @ Detroit (+3)
Kansas City (+7) @ Green Bay (-7)

Wow they really make those hard to call. Guess I’d be tempted by Detroit getting a start at home, and I like the Steelers in a coin flip against the Rams. Let us know who you decide to go for, Dean.

I hope all of your sporting good fortune is focussed on this spreadex competition this weekend

I would have to say Bills, Steelers and Patriots.
Good luck to you Dean - those are not easy matches to bet on.

If I was in the competition the 3 that stand out for me are:

Dallas +2 (there defence will see them home)

Chicago +14.5 (think this one has been priced up wrong, expecting a much closer game)

Buffalo +2.5 (real pressure in Miami, again expecting a close came like Bills with the points)

4 from 5 this week, good result but gutted to submit selections early to get on the Redskins :joy: my original pick Seahawks covered easy and the rest of the comp would have had an easy W by selecting the Panthers -4.5 on the Drew Brees news.
I’m 11 & 4 going into week 4 so doing okay

Tied in 4th place, I really needed the Saints to cover against the Panthers, as almost all the league were on that one. This week looks tricky so I’ll be happy with a 3 from 5 to keep me in the hunt.

Rank Team Name Last Week Total Points
1 Fo Real? 4 1 12.5
2 MattSteel 4 12
3 CAMC 4 11.5
T4 paulthegame 4 11
T4 IzzyMoreno 4 11
T4 Neil Reynolds Mighty Weapons 4 11
T4 West Yorkshire Printers 4 11

Good luck Dean - hope you manage to catch up with the lead.

Thanks Anders, don’t forget to chip in anytime if you have any strong leans

Yes, well played Dean. Looks like your doing really well there…

Week 4
6 Sun 18:00 Cincinnati (-4) Home
7 Sun 18:00 New York Giants (+5.5) Away
8 Sun 18:00 Oakland (-3) @ Away
12 Sun 21:25 Minnesota (+7) Away
13 Sun 21:25 St. Louis (+7) Away

4 & 1, keeps me in the hunt. Wished I’d known Cutler was active.

Me to for the NFL Predictor as it would of swayed me to da Bears.

Rank Team Name Last Week Total Points

2 Fo Real? 3 15.5
T3 Hayne Pancake 4 15
T3 MattSteel 3 15

T3 West Yorkshire Printers 4 15

One point off the lead - tied in 3rd, every win is critical, I didn’t think I would be 15 & 5 a quarter way through the game. I need to keep up the average as no doubt I’ll hit a low week sometime soon.

Thanks Jon, I hope I can stay competitive to the latter stages. It’s a great fun comp, makes you look at every game every week. Normally there would be games that I’d pass over without a second glance but you can’t afford to do that.

Agreed, doing really well there Dean, good stuff

Cheers guys, any thoughts on Week 5?

Tricky ones again… I guess the Bills, Buccs and Cowboys appeal most to me out of those. Probably Seattle too. Let us know who you decide!

Jon, I think I only agree with the Cowboys pick. Bills haven’t won @ Tennessee since 1994 and Buccs … well they just don’t give me any confidence lol.

Here are my picks: Kansas (Bears have too many injuries and rely on their rookies for this game), Detroit (they cannot possibly lose another game with that squad) & finally the Skins - it will be a close game and we will (hopefully) keep their running game to a minimum, so +7.5 is a good bet.
