Dallas (+2) @ Tampa Bay (-2)
Detroit (+11) @ Green Bay (-11)

Miami (+6) @ Philadelphia (-6)
New Orleans (-1) @ Washington (+1)
Minnesota @ Oakland EXCLUDED

Arizona (+3) @ Seattle (-3)
Houston (+10.5) @ Cincinnati (-10.5)
Titans
Steelers
Jags

Bungals
3 stand out for me straight away:
Giants +7.5 home against Patriots(historically good against Pats)
Arizona +3 @ Seattle
Houston +10.5 @ Bengals
My other 2 would be
Tampa Bay -2 against Cowboys
Bills +2.5 @ Jets (Jets have a lot of injuries on DEF and Bills can run on them)
Hope that helps
I would have gone for the Bills over the Jets (even without the +2.5), but saying that on Friday morning is a bit pointless
Aside from that…
Dallas +2 please (because I think they’ll win)
Miami +6 worth a shout
New Orleans -1
Arizona +3 (possibly faves for me)
I don’t really get how Tampa Bay are favourites over Dallas, even without Romo.
Couple I really fancied mixed with a few I really didn’t.
- Eagles - 6 (zero trust in Miami and they have played multiple road games inc. a tough Bills)
- Washington - could go either way but the Saints look messy throughout the organisation
- Kansas - Could be a close game so plus six makes this a safe selection
- Seattle - I’m guessing everyone will be on the Cards but I don’t fully trust their offensive
- Texans - would have been happier if Clowney was playing but im sure JJ on Primetime will be okay
The Panthers are my best of the week at -4 & now unbelievably available at -3.5 so I didn’t want to stick them in at -5.5 as I took heed of Brads advice that this could be a let-down game for them.
Hope the incentive for Carolina is their perfect record.
I’ve had the Giants pencilled in all week but I can see Brady/Bellechick and Gronk just keeping the foot on the gas for 60 minutes so the cover isn’t safe here.
Dont let me change your mind Dean.
I’m a big believer in the bounce factor and so after a huge win in week 9 I think the Panthers will have a tougher game than many expect v the Titans.
Good luck anyway
Well in the end, I went with the Cowboys (to win), Vikings (to win), and Panthers at both -4.5 and -3.5. Plus a random acca with some other things thrown in.
Panthers and Titans got off to an interesting start but it was a clean cut win in the end for the Panthers, so a good shout Dean.
One of my better weeks 4 out of 4 with Houston +10.5 to go to make it 5 out of 5.
Cheers Gordon. I thought that line didn’t give enough respect to the Panthers. I did take Brads valid ‘situation’ reasons on-board to warrant giving the Titans a chance, but because Riverboat Ron had taken some stick for not killing games off, on at least three occasions, I thought Carolina would play strong for the whole game and not allow Tennessee to cover or win like they had done against the Saints. I was content to have a large bet on them and perhaps lay some off if the line moved to +6 or +7. When Skybet went the other direction I just had to load up some more at -3.5
Best cash win of the campaign to date, shame I didn’t have similar success in the Spreadex game (I’m 2 & 2 going into Houston game tonight).
Nice one, always good to hear of folks smacking the bookies around
Balls - if I’d caught the line moving in Panthers favour I surely would of loaded up some more - unusual for me to win but alas lost on Over/Unders later in weekend to still be well down on season and only about even this week due to my lumping on the Jets in TNF.
WEEK 11
Tennessee (+2.5) @ Jacksonville (-2.5)
Dallas (+1) @ Miami (-1)
Denver (+1) @ Chicago (-1)
Indianapolis (+6) @ Atlanta (-6)
NY Jets @ Houston EXCLUDED
Oakland (-2) @ Detroit (+2)
St. Louis (+1.5) @ Baltimore (-1.5)
Tampa Bay (+6) @ Philadelphia (-6)
Washington (+7.5) @ Carolina (-7.5)
Kansas City (-3) @ San Diego (+3)
Green Bay (+1) @ Minnesota (-1)
San Francisco (+13) @ Seattle (-13)
Cincinnati (+4) @ Arizona (-4)
Buffalo (+7.5) @ New England (-7.5)
Well I still hold a slender lead, I had a 3 & 2 weekend, some of the chasing pack had 4 & 1’s although and a few had 2&3. One guy had and 0&5 which has dropped him back out of the top 20.
1 West Yorkshire Printers 36
2 Fo Real? 35
3 OrangeCrush 34
4 Kramerica Industries 33.5
5 Raven’s Receiving Corps 33
6 CAMC 32.5
T7 JM 32
T7 Le’Veon a Prayer 32
How can they exclude a game?
Don’t get that?
Personally from them I would go:
Miami (-1)
Chicago (-1)
Detroit (+2)
Minnesota (-1)
Arizona (-4)
Wonder how I go as not been doing it and really should have to test myself so will rest of the year from now.
Dallas, Washington, KC, GB, SF all appeal to me at a first glance.
Well impressed that you are leading this far into the season Dean ![]()
San Fran +13
Buffalo +7.5
Dallas +1
Jacksonville -2.5
San Diego +3
Just had gone back and added up my predictions 19 right out of 33. Not great really.
Had 1 x 5 out of 5 , 1 x 4 out of 5 2 x 3 out of 5 a 2 and a 1.
Cheers Guys, much appreciated. A few interesting selections above (opposite to my own in some cases).
Noel - They normally exclude if there’s a possible major injury (ie QB), not sure why Jets/Texans? I would have gone with Houston after their win on Thursday night.
Majic - you’re almost at 60% which would put you in the top third.
I don’t like any of those
Maybe Bengals +4 is the closest to being a decent bet.
Green Bay +1, Rams +1.5 look borderline acceptable. If I had to, perhaps Dallas +1 with Romo back, but that’s a bit hopeful. A lot of very close match-ups this week.
