Lets face it, there is nothing quite like Thursday night football when you have the next day off… And now its easily available as the NFL look to drive the sport out to the world by social media elements.
That’s interesting, really unexpected choice - thought Youtube or Apple would get the rights to stream those games.
Twitter paid just $10M for the deal (the rights to show 10 games, so $1M per game). Bit of a steal!
By comparison, Yahoo paid $17M to show a single London game and the US TV networks paid $45M per game to show Thursday Night Football.
Pretty exciting isn’t it!
