I’m a recovering compulsive gambler and for my own sanity I think I’d like the ability to mute the Betting Channel as and when needed. I see the horse racing tip today and it caused all sorts of feelings I not had in several months - (the urge to get on) since I lost a years salary and contemplated suicide. 
You can opt in to mute any category. If you click the sports betting category title, it should give you a filtered view of that content. Then near the top there’s a bell icon - click on the bell icon and select Mute. That should now hide all posts in that topic from you.
