FANTASY F1 - 2026 (FF1GP game) £5 GBP money league

Greetings F1 fans,

The Formula 1 season starts soon with qualifying for the first race commencing on Saturday 7th March and Fantasy Predictions for the first race of the season are open until Saturday 7th March 2026 @ 04:00 (GMT) and as per usual I have set up a really small stakes money league on the FF1GP game.

I have made up a private money league for just the ‘Want to Win’ type teams. This website allows you to have up to 6 free teams in total over any of their 4 team type options - ‘Want to Win’, ‘Want to Lose’, ‘Mega Budget’ and ‘Predictions Only’. As I said (and to be fair to all) this money league is just for ‘Want to Win’ teams.

The game is free to play but any one joining my private money league needs to pay me a fiver per team entered - (£5 GBP entry per team). Multiple teams are welcomed if you wish to enter more than once (up to a maximum of 3 teams per person - I have done 3 myself again this season) - but each team entered will cost you £5 to put into this money league. This is to make up our own prize fund as there will be money for both 1st and 2nd place at the end of the season. I will work out the exact prize split once the season has started and know how many teams I have in this money league and thus the amount of money we have in the pot but rest assured all entry fees will go back out in the way of 2 prizes (for 1st and 2nd place) at the end of the season. So please pass this information on to any work colleagues or personal friends you know who you think might be interested in joining - more the merrier as far as I am concerned - and thus bigger the prize pool.

The only internal rules for my private league are as follows:-

1. The league will be closed to new entrants once first race starts at 04:00 GMT Sunday 8th March (Australia).
2. All entry fees must be paid before the second race starts at 07:00 GMT Sunday 15th March (China). Any teams who have not paid up by this time will be removed from the league.

If you don’t know the score regards paying just PM me from here (TFP forum) or message me from the Discord app making sure to include your e-mail address so I can reply to you directly and I’ll forward you my details - even if you live abroad, it’s not a problem.

MONEY LEAGUE CANCELLED

Dear entrants,

It gives me no pleasure to announce this but am left with little option as I have been blocked from the FF1GP website (see below) and no longer able to login. Therefor not only can I not make predictions for my teams I cannot see the league to be able to take screen shots and pay out the winners at the end of the season.

I had a disagreement with the website’s owner on Discord on Monday and next day I found the FF1GP server never showed for me on my list of Discord servers - from this I could only assume the owner had booted and banned me. So, I tried to log in to the FF1GP website and was met with the above.

The background that led to this is - as I am sure you are all aware - once you enter a team on FF1GP it does not let you make changes even before the season starts. To set up my annual money league I have to have created a team first within the game and it auto enters that very first team into the league when created. Each year I do this and am at a disadvantage to all those who enter last minute with more pre-season testing and practice info. to hand. On Friday (before qualifying started on Saturday) I to decided I wished to go in a different direction with my early entry. There was no way for me to delete my team from the league so I reached out to the owner of FF1GP via Discord on the FF1GP server asking him to delete my ‘Shak Attack Racing’ Team so I could then enter my new team. He said he was too busy with other things but to enter my new team (had already done this) on the game site and he would make the necessary changes on the Monday. I said I would prefer him to do this immediately for transparency and he said just up your leagues entries to 4 teams and put it in that way. I said I could not do this as my league was a money league and my rules were a maximum of 3 teams per entrant and I already had 3 in the league so I needed him to delete my ‘Shak Attack Racing’ team completely to give me the space to enter my new team. He did not reply further. So, I assumed he would make this request on Monday as assured.

On Monday I checked league and scores had not been updated yet but my Shak Attack Racing team was still showing in my BLM league and not deleted as requested so I messaged him again on Discord to remind him to which he responded saying he was no longer willing to do this?

I asked why - and told him my new team was already in his game and I had entered it before qualifying and had asked him before start of season to delete my Shak Attack team and it was him that said he was too busy to do that until Monday and why on earth had he changed his mind, why can I as the league creator not have the power to delete teams from my own private league?

He said he would only remove accidental entries. I was like you were not this way on Friday and why did you not just delete my team as requested on Friday (before season started) - the team I was forced to enter as a place holder so I could create my private league and begin recruiting. He did not respond any more. So I went and sent him an angry e-mail and ranted on his Discord channel saying how crazy it was that there is no amnesty with entries pre-season with regards team make ups, that league creators have to have a team entered first to be able to make a private league and then league creators have no control over what teams are in their league - no ability to remove teams once joined. I also offered feedback that I felt ignoring Sprint races - no fantasy points for sprint qualifying or sprint racing was wrong as it is part of the real championship season.

I believe he took exception to this and banned me as I can no longer see his Discord server and now cannot login to his website. So, for this reason am having to cancel this money league. I do not even know if my teams and private league still exist. If it does, then the rest of you can still enjoy the season for fun and treat it as a free league - as alas I can’t compete as cannot enter predictions for my teams as am no longer authorised to login to FF1GP.

I know some of you that entered from outside the UK had to pay PayPal fees on top to enter so will lose money if I refund you so I will put your entry fees on account. Hopefully there will be future games you wish to enter like IPL (cricket) or the Masters (golf) and can use your money on account then (to cover future entry fees). All UK entrants I will refund ASAP.

Once again, I am sorry for the disappointment but the guy behind this site has taken umbrage with me and equally I can’t work with a guy that changes his mind and does not do what he says he will.

Any chance of you refunding yourself, but letting the league continue for the others? and one or several on here can let you know the winners at seasons end, and we all should be sweet, is Dougie in this? he is close to you and can handle things.

Dougie is not in this year and I’ve already refunded a few. Otherwise I would of perhaps suggested that but didn’t know FF1GP had left my league and teams showing. Bit too late now as I already refunded James and David x2.

Not sure anyone else would of wanted take it on and pay out winners at the end. Bit dissapointing all around.

Guy behind site just being akward - he really should look into how his website works, at least have an amnesty till first quali deadline and allow league creators to remove any team from private leagues prior to season start at least.
