Paul Nicholls likened Zubayr to Zarkander who won this race in fine style. Sceau Royal is a nice traveler and may have a bit of class.

Albert Bartlett
The unbeaten Barters Hill would be my selection here. Although the late scare is a bit of a worry.
Gold Cup
I’ve changed my mind a few times on this one. I loved Vautour till his defection. He bolted up in the Ryanair and wasn’t stopping
Djakadam has fallen twice at Cheltenham but ran a cracker in last years Gold Cup and has an obvious chance.
Cue Card is in the form of him life and will collect a Million Pound bonus if he wins this. He is 10 now though.
Don Poli is a horse that does just enough to win. For me he hasn’t beaten much yet so I prefer others. He may run on for a place.
Smad Place is also having his best season. Placed in two world hurdles and one RSA. He probably needs cut to be seen at his best but he’s tough.
I am just favouring Don Cossack to win this as he hsa the best form, but yet to do it at Cheltenham.
Foxhunters
I am backing On The Fringe here. He won both the two big Foxhunters at Cheltenham and Aintree last year very easily. That’s good enough for me.
Martin Pipe
I am on Qualando and Squouateur at big prices. The latter is probably too short to bet now. So maybe Flying Angel who bolted up last run and hasn’t been penalised.
Grand Annual
Next Sensation will go hell for leather in this. 4th two years ago and won this last year. He must be backed again on only 1lb higher.
