Some tips of my own

Look at your roster everyday. Can you improve it, particularly the bottom of it.

Trades, most people are reluctant to trade as very often they think you know something they don’t. Be prepared to only offer trades (with evidence by way of trade charts) that show your trade partner has the better of the deal, so in effect you are backing your own judgement against others.

Don’t hold on to underperforming players in expectation they will get better. Give them a short window.

Injuries. Watch out for players that play hurt. Very often it affects their production. Particularly Wide Receivers. They may start, but don’t expect the same results. You may be better starting someone off your bench.
