Ok so deadline day is upon me so I have to make my picks. So here we go:-
Jags +3 - Chargers in disarray again, we know both teams can score but we know Chargers are missing their main man again. Bad defense, loss of weapons, I can see Jags winning this outright.
Packers -2 - I mostly watched the Titans/Vikings game last week and both teams were pretty bad. If not for the turnovers which got returned for TD’s (which in turn created more of them as the Titans got more desperate) it was equally bad from both of them. So… in that case I’ll take the better team to win by a FG or more.
Bucs +6.5 - Palmer looks… off, and has done now for quite a while going back to the end of last season (including preseason fwiw). Until he shows up I can’t see them smashing anyone that can also put up points.
Panthers -13.5 - Roads dogs with a big cap… historically shouldn’t be opposed but fuck it, panthers are clearly the better team, at home and in need of a win and have had more rest. It’s all there for a blowout win.
Steelers -3 - Dalton usually loses in this spot and although these games are usually quite close I liked the look of their blowout win vs the skins. Kinda wish I’d have picked the Jets at this point though lol
Simon - Iike your picks, reasons all good and valid. Not sure about the Bengals/Steelers, I think that could go either way.
We’re still deliberating on some games but our entry will feature some of your picks too. I don’t think we’re the opposite way on any of yours, which furthers my confidence.
Storm The Stars. I am right at the bottom seeing as I joined after the deadline for week 1! Although I see it appears one other did also, I’m going to use this as a personal battle with that guy, haha. Can anybody remember a tv quiz show that was on in the mornings called Going For Gold? Malcy, you’re playing catch up.
Another ‘losing’ week for the majority of players, league average was 2.25 from 5. Which most of us managed to beat.
On to week 3, lines should be out tomorrow, Anders is in the spotlight for week 3 for the The Fan entrty and we wish him luck

1 & 4 for Anders. Not actually a terrible result. The league average will be less than 2.5 again (a New Orleans cover will bring that average down a little more). The Spreadex players haven;t managed to beat the spread in all three weeks so anything approaching 7 or 8 points to date is good.
Over to Gordon for wk4 (a 5&0 or 0&5 wouldn’t surprise me)
