Hi Noel - I know I’m the new guy here but can I make a suggestion about the settings for this league?
I tried my first online mock auction draft last night - it was only a 12 person draft and it took the best part of 2 hours. If this league gets up to 20 members, it’s going to be longer then Gone with the Wind. And this was with a nomination time of 20 seconds - in this league it’s currently set at 45 seconds. 20 seconds seems plenty of time to nominate - worth changing it? It might speed it up a bit.
Ha Ha - Noel is the last person to suggest speeding up a draft to!!!

Hello all, further to Ricks post above about 45 sec nomination time and indeed 45 sec bid time…any estimates for how long the auction will take to fill all 20 rosters? Just so I know. I’d only ever used the snake format but tried a 10 team auction one last month with diff settings to get the gist.
I am new to this like the rest of you - just went with the default settings - I guess it’s how long is a piece of string - it totally depends how long each GM takes to nominate a player and then how many people bid (as each bid adds more time) I say look at the real draft - enjoy the experience and allow lots of time (3 hours I plan for) and if it goes quicker it goes quicker and longer well longer.
Thanks Noel, really looking forward to it. It’ll be interesting to see how high the bids go and how quickly my tactics go out the window lol
