INTERNATIONAL LEAGUE (Sleeper) - Year 16 / 2025

Week 16 Strikes (x1)

Sad to report the following strike is awarded for NFL Week 16:

AUSTRALIA - Michael Costalos x1 for:

x1 Started WR - Devaughn Vele - (NO) - IR / was placed on IR before his teams actual game day.

(LC) Not a biggie as this is Australia’s first strike of the year - so it will come off when I reboot for next season. I had no choice other than to issue this strike as Australia lost their match up and the player was placed on IR the Friday - 19 Dec. 2025 and this players game was not until Sunday 21 Dec. 2025 so had Michael checked/paid closer attention to his team he could of seen this news and adjusted hist starting line-up.

Week 17 Strikes (x1)

Sad to report the following strike is awarded for NFL Week 17:

POLAND - Przemek Krol x1 for:

x1 Started WR - Kayshon Boutte - (NE) - OUT / was ruled out before his teams actual game day.

(LC) Not much to say - just carelessness or disinterest as this player was officially ruled out the Friday yet his (the Patriots) game was not until Sunday. This is Przemek’s fifth strike this season - so lucky this is the last week of fantasy in this league as 6 strikes is a permanent ban. As it stands Przemek is welcome to go back on the waiting list if he would like to get back in the IL again in the future.

Poll Result

The Sixth poll of the season (been open for over 2 months) I have called time on as we are just one game away from the end of the real season, it’s ridiculous people are not helping me vote on rules for the IL. Once again this is well over the 28 days minimum required (per league rules) before I can close a poll and still 3 GM’s did not make the effort to vote. I even left the poll up an extra month advising all GM’s to go check they had voted as it was a very tight poll and the missing voters held the key to which way it went. Alas only one took that plea on board and broke the tie - the other 3 missing voters in actual fact could of swung the result so they have no right to complain on the outcome. They also each pick up a strike for not voting.

POLL 6 - Draft Pick Trading Poll (2025)

(LC) 17/20 votes

Votes

Yes - end it. - 9 Votes
No - keep Draft Pick Trading - 8 Votes

STRIKES ISSUED FOR NOT VOTING x3:

AUSTRALIA - Michael Costalos - X
POLAND - Przemek Krol - X
SPAIN - David Garcia- X

A very narrow majority (9 GM’s) voted to end Draft Pick Trading so for next season (2026) so there will be no Draft Pick Trading. Existing deals agreed in 2025 will be honoured. Due to the narrow majority (of just 1 vote) and fact there were 3 non voters plus we will be changing some team GM’s in the off season I am open to running this poll again when the league is filled with next years new GM’s in place.
