Baby due on… Feb 11th! So, probably either nervously waiting for a baby or cleaning shitty nappies on the night of the Super Bowl

One Super Bowl sacrificed for the greater good. Unless the Texans get to the Super Bowl this year in which case… although, don’t really see that happening without a QB, RB or any kind of offensive line, so should be safe in that regard. Unless J.J. wins all the games singlehandedly…

In that case the baby needs to be born early so Superbowl 50 is the first game he saw live.
Takes me back to when my son was 1 week old watching a young Reggie Bush playing for USC, they hammered the Oregon Ducks, it was about 3am in the UK, loved those night feeds.

Additional seats purchased/confirmed.
We now have Dan, Mary, Simon, Dean, Anders, Sean & myself booked in. Thats 7 with 2 tickets currently being held for one week in the hope that Noel and Jon can confirm. If they dont they become generally available.
The venue suggests that the doors open at 10pm and they will reserve 9 seats for us together however they dont seem to have an amazingly effective way of managing this so they still suggest getting there early to ensure our space as a group.
I am in no rush at all for payment but I would like to avoid collecting money from people on Superbowl night. So whenever people are ready between now & then feel free to fire £20 at gordsbox@gmail.com (paypal).

For those wondering what its like to watch football in the Hipp… Imagine sitting in a cinema watching the SB. Its exactly like that but with people being free to chat/shout, come & go. American food & drink available throughout at the nearby bar/s plus all the fun and atmosphere that comes with “a potential” 160 NFL fans in the same room.
Additionally as a side dish we have any number of casino adventures for those looking to take their chances and all sorts of pubs and restaurants directly outside.
I realised this morning that the Feelers are not listed as coming or in the discussion, do Chris and Al have plans? Would certainly be good to have them there.
I think Al mentioned a holiday in Florida, not sure about Chris

All tickets are now sold out for the SB gig at the Hipp.

The doors to the theatre apparently open at 10pm (will confirm this nearer the time) and they have asked us to be there early to ensure our seats as a group (other than put names on chairs they dont police the seats isnside the theatre).
The seats are in rows, as you would expect in a cinema type room.

Just an idea, would anybody be up for grabbing some food early evening as a starter point? Like say 7 or 8 pm?
It just strikes me as a great way to get the night rolling & with the location being what it is there is a crazy amount of choice. Completely optional obviously.
The Hipp are doing typical American foods at the bar for the night, this is an alternative, certainly for later in the evening, game time… if not before.
The spare ticket is now truly spare, up for grabs. Anybody want in? Lets fill it up 
@CitrusPlayer - It would be great to join you at the Hippodrome - unfortunately I would require two tickets, one for myself and one for @Steelers84. We haven’t worked out where we’re going yet, but we will go somewhere

Hi Shani, as of last night the ticket went back out on offer to somebody. They will get back to me in the coming days. If they don’t take it the ticket is 100% yours dude, if you can make it.
