Thanks to those who have signed up. There are 12 of us, but this website only lets me tag 10 in a post. So I will split the names between 2 posts below!
11 rounds of questions, over the next six weeks or so. Every round of questions will have a maximum of 10 points available. All predictions to me by private message either on here or discord, by the stated deadline.
I will run this as a 12 team league, with everyone playing everyone else (draws are allowed during this league stage). At the end of the 11 rounds, four people will qualify for the final
SEED 1 – top of the league based on Win / Loss record (points scored as a tiebreaker)
SEED 2 – second in the league based on Win / Loss record (points scored as a tiebreaker)
SEED 3 – the highest points scorer, who hasn’t already qualified (Win / Loss record as a tiebreaker)
SEED 4 – the highest points scorer over rounds 9 / 10 / 11, who hasn’t already qualified (to give everyone an interest throughout, in case of a slow start! Round 8 score as a tiebreaker, then round 7 etc)
There will be a final twelfth round of questions just for the four seeded teams, with 20 points available.
SEED 1 will get a 3.75 point head start
SEED 2 will get a 2.50 point head start
SEED 3 will get a 1.25 point head start
SEED 4 will get no point head start
(this gives the higher seeds an advantage, and the fractional points ensures there can be no ties in the final week)
